About Great Plains Chemicals & Fumigation

Established in 1976 by Jerry and Karen Meers, Great Plains Chemicals began servicing the needs of grain elevators and seed warehouses. Selling primarily insecticides, he then quickly added custom fumigations, rodent and insect control, safety equipment, and grain monitoring equipment. Custom fumigations provide insect control for grain elevators, mills and seed warehouses. Their son, Kyle Meers joined the company full time, after graduating Texas Tech University in Entomology in 1993. Great Plains Chemicals is known for our expertise in fumigation as well as our knowledge about stored grain pests. We service Texas, Eastern New Mexico, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Kansas in every facet of grain and seed protection, application, and equipment.In addition, Great Plains Chemicals has also expanded their scope of business to include mosquito control, sales and servicing of Curtis Dynafog equipment.

Our commitment is in educating our customers in the products and their uses. In cooperation with Lubbock County Extension Service, we also provide an annual educational seminar dealing with current issues and products available to the stored products industry. Custom Fumigation

Are you having problem with pests getting into and damaging your products? For almost 30 years Great Plains Chemicals has been helping combat pest problems through custom fumigations across Texas, New Mexico and the Midwest.
What is a custom fumigation? - A specialized, planned treatment of a structure or commodity in which a gas is released into the atmosphere of an area or structure.
What can we fumigate? - Seed storage warehouses, grain elevators, shipping containers, grain bins, processing plants, flat grain storage, cotton pickers, rail cars and wooden crating.
What we use? - We fumigate with Aluminum Phosphide, Phosphine, Vaporph3os - Instant Phosphine, Eco2 Fume - Instant Phosphine, Profume - Sulfuryl Fluoride & Methyl Bromide.
Where do we fumigate? - We fumigate throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, and New Mexico.
