Mediterranean Flour Moth
Anagasta kuehniella
It is 1/4 to 1/2 inch long with a wingspread of slightly less than 1 inch. Its
hindwings are dirty white and the forewings are pale leaden gray with
transverse wavy, black markings. The fully grown larva is about 1/2 inch long
and is whitish or pinkish, with a few small black spots on the body. It
requires 8 to 9 weeks to pass through the egg, larva, and pupal stages.
It does fly.
